Primary responsibilities include managing daily builds and sustaining customer released builds as well as designing, developing, debugging, testing, maintaining and improving our systems. Extensive cross-group interaction will be required which includes working closely with developers, testers, program managers, and other groups or individuals who will often have conflicting goals, schedules and demands. Typical improvement tasks are reducing the compile time, automating manual processes and making sure build environments are easy to set up and use, both internally and for developers.
Summary of typical tasks:

• Design, implement and maintain our build environments and Visual Basic.
• Build releases and hot fixes/patches for multiple products.
• Provide build infrastructure and support for the organization.

Computer Science degree or equivalent

Minimum 3-5 years of software development experience,experience with technical leadership

As a software developer your job profile essentially involves developing extensions to the Microsoft Office Architecture. Your job role includes coding and unit testing.

• Work as part of development team working in Microsoft Office System environment and Visual Basic.

The work will involve:

• Assisting in the technical design of new software products.Writing code, including test and implementation code, to meet this design.
• Managing the work of a junior programmer. In time the job is expected to include leading a small team of developers.

• 5-10 Years of experience in commercial software development.2 or more years using Microsoft .NET technologies in a commercial setting.Experience of working on small teams.Knowledge and experience of developing database applications
• Good spoken and written English
