Job Description
|
Primary responsibilities include managing daily builds and sustaining customer released builds as well as designing, developing, debugging, testing, maintaining and improving our systems. Extensive cross-group interaction will be required which includes working closely with developers, testers, program managers, and other groups or individuals who will often have conflicting goals, schedules and demands. Typical improvement tasks are reducing the compile time, automating manual processes and making sure build environments are easy to set up and use, both internally and for developers.
Summary of typical tasks:
- Design, implement and maintain our build environments and Visual Basic.
- Build releases and hot fixes/patches for multiple products.
- Provide build infrastructure and support for the organization.
